Betty, Frida & Freddie

Betty and her two lambs Frida and Freddie arrived at Libera in the summer of 2024. We often have local sheep wandering on to our land. Usually they return to their home on their own, but these three kept coming back and eventually settled in our garden. We asked around to find out where they came from and after a couple weeks, finally found the right farmer. They had travelled through the forest quite a distance to us. Happily the farmer agreed to let them stay with us and the transfer was completed. As our first sheep at the sanctuary, they will always hold a special place in our heart and we are so happy to be able to offer them a forever home together.
